How we raise our litters
At The Wright Doodle Co., we believe the best family dogs are raised in a loving home environment.
Â
From birth, our puppies live inside our house, fully integrated into our daily lives rather than a kennel, ensuring they are prepared for life as your companion. Our puppies are handled daily and socialized with children, adults, and other dogs to build early confidence. We focus on positive experiences and age-appropriate challenges to develop strong social skills long before they leave for their new homes.Â
Â
We utilize an enrichment program featuring Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) between days 3 and 16. These exercises support neurological growth and adaptability. We also follow Puppy Culture and Badass Breeder (BAB) principles to guide development through problem-solving and confidence-building activities. Litter box training begins around three weeks to teach puppies to keep their sleeping areas clean. While not fully housebroken when they arrive home, this foundation makes the future potty training transition much smoother for families.Â
Â
Living in our home means puppies are naturally desensitized to vacuums, TVs, loud children, and barking dogs. This exposure helps them become resilient, adaptable, and comfortable with the normal noises of family life. Every puppy is raised with purpose to ensure they join your family as a social, well-adjusted companion.
